Dr. Michael Raher is a board-certified Anesthesiologist practicing in Massachusetts.

He holds clinical privileges at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis and Falmouth Hospital in Falmouth, where he provides perioperative anesthetic care for both pediatric and adult surgical patients.

Dr. Raher completed his undergraduate education at Boston College and earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed residency training in Anesthesiology at Yale-New Haven Medical Center, followed by subspecialty fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Stanford University.

Prior to entering clinical practice, Dr. Raher conducted extensive cardiovascular and pulmonary research as a research affiliate at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital. His published work spans nitric oxide physiology, hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers, brown adipose tissue hemodynamics, cardiac remodeling, and pulmonary hypertension. His research has appeared in Circulation, The Journal of Clinical Investigation, Anesthesiology, and the American Journal of Physiology.
